Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade throws a right and a left that both miss.
Andrade rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Andrade misses the target.
Andrade throws a nice looking combination but Barett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Andrade swats away the attempt to clinch by Barett.
Barett is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Andrade sizes up Barett with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Barett misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sloppy strikes from Andrade. Those never looked like landing.
Barett gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Andrade.
Barett takes a swing at Andrade's ribcage but misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Andrade darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Andrade stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Andrade softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Andrade gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Barett.
Barett drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Andrade gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Thiago Andrade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carson Barett.

Andrade breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Andrade goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Andrade lands with a straight right. Barett didn't see that one coming.
Barett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Andrade swivels and escapes.
Andrade lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Andrade throws a big shot that misses.
Andrade uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Barett has time to react.
Thiago Andrade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Barett or perhaps it was just good defense by Andrade which made him look bad.
The fighters circling - Andrade throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Andrade looks to land a combination but Barett avoids it well.
Barett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Andrade misses with a straight left.
Andrade misses with a jab, cross combination.
Barett shoots in for a takedown but Andrade shows good takedown defense.
Andrade scores with a jab to the head.
Barett takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barett is rocked!
Andrade lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Barett head around and knocks him out cold! Andrade hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thiago Andrade!
