Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zulu Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Rig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rig misses with a combination
and Zulu counters by clinching up.
Zulu with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rig working hard to break the clinch.
Zulu is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rig is defending well.
Rig is trying to break the clinch but Zulu is controlling him.
Zulu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zulu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Zulu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rig manages to get himself to full guard.

Rig has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Zulu is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rig.

and Zulu counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Zulu.
Zulu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Zulu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rig is trying to break free.
Zulu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Zulu counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zulu Zulu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zulu tries to pull guard but Rig forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Zulu jumps guard but Rig stands there with Zulu around his waist. Zulu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rig tries to free his leg and advance position but Zulu is retaining full guard.
Rig is fighting to break Zulu's control of his arms but Zulu is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zulu has Rig pulled in close to control his posture.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Zulu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Zulu Zulu wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Rig misses with a combination
and Zulu counters by moving into the clinch.
Zulu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rig stalling in the clinch but Zulu improves position.
Rig takes a shot to the head.
Zulu breaks from the clinch.
Zulu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rig but Rig pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Zulu counters by clinching up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zulu is working for takedown but Rig is calmly controlling the position for now.
Zulu tries for a takedown but Rig manages to get underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rig throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zulu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rig! Zulu lets Rig back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Big Rig has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zulu is defended easily by Rig.
Zulu rushes Rig and presses him up against the cage.
Rig misses with a short punch on the inside.
Zulu fails to pull guard.
Zulu breaks from the clinch.
Rig should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rig falls off balance throwing a combination
and Zulu counters with a straight right hand.
Zulu Zulu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rig throws a combination that misses
and Zulu counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Rig off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Zulu follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Rig was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Zulu Zulu!
