Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jai McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krigare comes to the cage accompanied by Achtung Pantzer by Raubtier. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Krigare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jai McCracken! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from McCracken finds it's target. Krigare cracks McCracken with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A slow jab from McCracken misses its intended target. Krigare scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Jai McCracken has been cut. McCracken has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McCracken there as he acknowledges the shot. Krigare fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCracken. Krigare throws a looping overhand right but McCracken ducks down to avoid it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCracken slips a jab from Krigare. Krigare moves out of range of the leg kick from McCracken. Krigare misses with a hook to the body
and McCracken counters with a lovely shot to the body. McCracken lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. McCracken keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Krigare takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Krigare jabbing away but nothing is landing. McCracken lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. McCracken feints and then cracks Krigare's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Krigare down. Krigare checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCracken connects with a body shot that sends Krigare's belly button to the back. McCracken takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McCracken has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Krigare takes a shot right to the bread basket. Krigare thows a body shot but no joy. Krigare throws a body kick that misses and McCracken counters with a nice leg kick. McCracken misses with a low kick. McCracken connects with a body shot that sends Krigare's belly button to the back. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McCracken.

McCracken tries to clinch but Krigare moves out of range. McCracken lands with a nice body punch. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McCracken. Krigare shrugs it off though. This has been an exciting period of action! McCracken checks the leg kick. McCracken is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Krigare rather than just go for the knockout. McCracken blocks a jab. McCracken dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krigare. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCracken tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krigare swats him away and circles back towards the center. McCracken connects with a solid leg kick. Krigare throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Good leg kick by McCracken there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Krigare is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. McCracken gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right from McCracken on the inside. Krigare looking to stall.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McCracken creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. McCracken lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. McCracken lands with a short shot to the head. McCracken lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Krigare backwards. McCracken fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Krigare misses with a hook from the clinch. Krigare wants to stall.
McCracken scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCracken's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A lazy body kick from McCracken and Krigare counters with a straight right hand. Krigare changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCracken looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Krigare cracks McCracken with an elbow. That is naaassty. Krigare wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCracken keeps working. McCracken is trying to control Krigare's posture but Krigare avoids it. Krigare in side control, throwing shots but McCracken defends. Krigare working the strikes but McCracken uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Krigare wants to work for an arm triangle but McCracken is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McCracken is not content to let Krigare control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCracken is trying to maintain the position but Krigare is very close to passing his half guard. Krigare is trying to work for a kimura but McCracken is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Krigare with the ground and pound but McCracken uses the opportunity to regain guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McCracken looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krigare is one step ahead there. McCracken is trying to control the position but Krigare postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jai McCracken will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jai McCracken's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Krigare throws a jab but it's blocked by McCracken. McCracken lands with an overhand left. McCracken tries to clinch up. Krigare fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McCracken is out of range. Jai McCracken seems to be getting the better of the standup. Krigare misses with a straight left. Krigare misses with a few strikes there.
McCracken scores with a slapping inside leg kick. No luck for Krigare with that takedown attempt. Krigare misses with a leg kick. McCracken tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Krigare is able to avoid easily. McCracken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krigare was well out of range. Poor timing from McCracken. McCracken throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Krigare on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McCracken.

and McCracken counters with a low kick, right behind Krigare 's knee. Krigare checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Krigare looks to score with a jab to the body but McCracken is just out of range. McCracken misses with a leg kick. Krigare has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McCracken. A bone on bone clash there as Krigare blocks the leg kick.
Krigare is trying hard to land a takedown here. McCracken sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Krigare missing with a left hand there. McCracken was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. McCracken dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McCracken walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Krigare checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. McCracken uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krigare. Krigare throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McCracken throws a leg kick and Krigare counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McCracken digs a good hook to Krigare's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McCracken pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Krigare takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krigare bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Krigare takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Krigare throws a low kick but it's checked well by McCracken. Krigare throws a sloppy head kick and McCracken moves out of range easily. McCracken lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Krigare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCracken moves away. McCracken throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Krigare is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Krigare defending well as McCracken loads up on a big left hand. McCracken misses with a straight left. McCracken tries to clinch up. McCracken digs a good body shot into Krigare's ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krigare lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
McCracken misses with an attempted mid kick.
Krigare shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCracken as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Krigare. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krigare takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McCracken fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Krigare has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. McCracken dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A bone on bone clash there as Krigare blocks the leg kick.
Krigare gets off balance looking for a body kick and McCracken counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Krigare! Krigare takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McCracken working away. McCracken tries to advance to mount but can't. McCracken lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCracken wants to control but Krigare is keeping him busy. Krigare is letting McCracken control him for a moment. Krigare is looking for a sweep. Krigare dodges the ground and pound from McCracken. Krigare taking punishment in the form of punches.
McCracken tries to advance to mount but Krigare denies him. Krigare is trying to improve his position. McCracken in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McCracken tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. McCracken with the ground and pound but Krigare regains half guard under the barage of strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jai McCracken showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jai McCracken's cut. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

McCracken moves away from the strike by Krigare. McCracken fakes the leg kick and cracks Krigare in the body. McCracken uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Krigare has time to react. McCracken connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. McCracken avoids the body shot from Krigare.
McCracken cracks the inside of Krigare's front leg. McCracken is looking to chop away at Krigare's legs. Krigare moves out of range of the body kick. Krigare looks to land a combination. McCracken sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Krigare fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCracken is looking to score with low kicks. McCracken tries to work over Krigare's front leg with a kick but Krigare checks it. McCracken throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Krigare. The fight stays on the outside here - McCracken looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McCracken scores with a spinning back kick! Thud! ouch! good body kick from McCracken - that will leave a mark!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. McCracken moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A clash of legs there as McCracken blocks the low kick. McCracken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krigare was well out of range. Poor timing from McCracken. Krigare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCracken moves away. McCracken lunges at Krigare with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Krigare's hand. McCracken misses with a low kick. Krigare lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. McCracken scoring well with a low kick there.

McCracken lands the left hand. Jai McCracken is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Krigare walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCracken scores with a kick to the midsection. A bone on bone clash there as Krigare blocks the leg kick.
Krigare avoids a low kick by using good footwork. McCracken throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Daniel Krigare has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McCracken lands a nice looking kick to the body. Krigare takes a step back to recover. McCracken scores with the left hand. Krigare knows he should have avoided that one. McCracken lands a really nice looking cross but Krigare seems unphased.
Krigare misses with an uppercut. McCracken tests Krigare's chin there with a solid looking shot. McCracken throws a leg kick but Krigare checks it. Krigare with a hook. Krigare will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krigare misses with a low kick. Krigare cracks McCracken with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. McCracken connects with an inside leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from McCracken. Krigare does a little dance to reset his feet. McCracken scores with a sloppy right hand. Krigare should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Krigare takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Krigare takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Krigare just misses with a punch to the body.
McCracken connects with a body shot. A slapping leg kick lands for McCracken.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McCracken keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Krigare. McCracken's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and McCracken duly obliges. A jab from Krigare misses. Krigare throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Jai McCracken comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McCracken has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
