Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, All Inn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Smith! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Smith's half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Smith moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. We've been hearing that Inn has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Smith looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Inn puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Inn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Inn seems to be looking for submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Inn wants to advance to full mount but Smith doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Smith keeping full guard, as Inn tries to pass. Smith closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Inn quickly recovers to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Inn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Inn. Smith wants to control from the top but Inn keeps moving. Inn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Inn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Inn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there. Smith tries to buck Inn off but Inn is having none of it. Inn works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Inn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Inn tries for a kimura but Smith is defending well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Inn enables Smith to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Inn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Inn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there. Inn isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Smith stacks Inn on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Smith! Inn tries to improve position but can't.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). All Inn! All Inn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
