Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Noshikawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jarkko Hakulinen! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hakulinen fails to land the takedown. Hakulinen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Noshikawa throws a right hand that Hakulinen ducks under and follows up with a left that Hakulinen also avoids with ease. A right-left combo lands from Noshikawa.
It looks like Jarkko Hakulinen has been cut. Hakulinen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Noshikawa has time to react. Hakulinen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Noshikawa fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hakulinen on the side of the head. Hakulinen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hakulinen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hakulinen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Noshikawa to score with a decent uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hakulinen is looking to clinch. Horrible takedown by Hakulinen or perhaps it was just good defense by Noshikawa which made him look bad. Yuki Noshikawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarkko Hakulinen. Noshikawa scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hakulinen looks gassed! Hakulinen slips a straight right by Noshikawa. Noshikawa misses with a double jab.

Noshikawa misses with a looping right. Hakulinen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hakulinen tries to clinch up but Noshikawa circles away and keeps his distance. A cross from Noshikawa lands.
Hakulinen is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Noshikawa throws a jab when Hakulinen was well out of range. Noshikawa circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hakulinen to the canvas! Hakulinen doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Noshikawa keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuki Noshikawa!
