Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bags (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis Angel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Bags's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Curtis Angel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Bags! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bags gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bags preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Angel wants to control from the top but Bags keeps moving. Angel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bags is working an open guard so Angel takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Angel. No joy for Bags on that attempt. Angel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bags fails to land the takedown. Bags looks winded! Bags tries to bum rush Angel with a series of wild strikes but Angel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Angel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Angel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Angel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ground and pound from Angel. Angel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Angel wants to pass to mount but Bags is defending the position.
Angel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bags doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Angel.
Angel is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bags keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Angel sitting and controlling from the half guard. Angel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bags does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Angel missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Angel looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Angel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bags knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Angel keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Curtis Angel. Angel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Angel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bags keeping moving, preventing Angel from controlling successfully. Angel missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Angel controls from within his opponent's guard. Angel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bags for as long as he can get away with.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Curtis Angel just wasn't active enough. Angel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Curtis Angel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Bags.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bags enables Angel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bags manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Angel advances to half guard. Angel passes to side control. Angel advances to mount. Angel content just to control the position here. Bags is squirming around, avoiding Angel's attempts to control the action. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Angel content just to control the position here. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Curtis Angel dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bags stuffs the takedown. Bags leaves Angel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bags defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Angel. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis Angel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bags slaps away a takedown attempt from Angel, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Angel gets a double leg takedown into Bags's guard. Angel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Angel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Angel chips away with some ground and pound. Bags is breathing heavily. Angel scoring with punches to the head and body.

Angel drops back looking for a leg! Bags is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bags manages to kick Angel off! Angel jumps back into Bags's guard. Bags wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Angel is now in half guard. Angel throwing shots but Bags is blocking nicely. Angel with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Angel is trying to control the action in half guard but Bags is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Angel not doing much here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Curtis Angel wasn't doing enough on the ground. Angel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bags defends it nicely. Bags stuns Angel with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nice sprawl there from Bags as Angel shoots in. Bags looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Angel is fending him off so far but Bags persists. Nope, Angel circles away and we're back to standing. Bags misses with a jab, cross combination.
Angel darts in and clinches Bags up against the cage. Angel leaning against his opponent.

Angel is trying to trip Bags. He has hold of a leg but Bags is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Angel persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Angel throwing strikes but missing. Angel lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Angel trying to control the position from guard on top but Bags is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Angel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Angel shoots for a double leg takedown but Bags sprawls well. He's pushed Angel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bags stuffs the takedown attempt from Angel. Angel gets slowly back to his feet. Bags has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Angel is landing a low percentage of strikes. Angel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Angel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Angel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bags flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bags is not content to let Angel control the position.

Bags fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck for Angel with that takedown attempt. Angel shoots in and drives through. Bags sprawls well.
Bags gets caught napping as Angel dives in and scores a takedown. Bags manages to retain guard. Angel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bags is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Angel forces his way into half guard. Nice strikes from Angel there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Angel trying to control the action but Bags is working from the bottom. Angel works his way into full mount! Bags is squirming around, avoiding Angel's attempts to control the action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Angel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Angel connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Bags is rocked! Bags is in a horrible position here. Angel smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bags is still in real trouble! Can Angel finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Angel postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Bags is out cold - huge knockout for Angel!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Curtis Angel! Joe Bags was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back!'.
