Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sosa's entrance music is Jim Johnston-Priceless. A fine choice. Duncan has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. On his way into the cage it seems that Alexandre Sosa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexandre Sosa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa misses with a double jab.
A punch combination from Duncan misses.
Sosa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sosa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duncan is just riding it out for now. Sosa eventually gives up the hold.
Duncan has hold of Sosa's hands but Sosa slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sosa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Duncan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Duncan looks gassed!
Sosa is trying to work for a kimura but Duncan is defending well.
Sosa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sosa passes the guard and advances to mount!

Sosa wants to finish this one by submission but Duncan is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sosa.
Sosa goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Duncan is on top in guard.
Sosa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
A nice elbow there by Sosa.
Sosa working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sosa goes for an armbar but Duncan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Duncan.
Duncan is looking to stand up but Sosa won't let him.
Sosa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sosa throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Sosa is striking but Duncan is not phased and passes to half guard.
Sosa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sosa.
Sosa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Duncan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sosa's body to avoid the submission. Sosa has instead reached around Duncan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sosa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Alexandre Sosa!
