The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tournament doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Jonen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jonen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tournament throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jonen.

Tournament pivots and extends the arm, Jonen falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Tournament! Well done that man!
