Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dino Lykourgos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anan Kofan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykourgos shoots in but Kofan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lykourgos shoots in looking for a takedown. Kofan tries to sprawl out of it but Lykourgos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kofan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kofan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kofan throws a series of strikes that have Lykourgos backpedaling.
Lykourgos drops his hands momentarily and Kofan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lykourgos pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kofan is out of range and Lykourgos settles back down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kofan.
Lykourgos shoots for a double leg takedown but Kofan sprawls well. He's pushed Lykourgos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dino Lykourgos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kofan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lykourgos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kofan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lykourgos somewhat.
Kofan lands a nice hook to Lykourgos's body. Lykourgos takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kofan catches Lykourgos napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Lykourgos to the canvas!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lykourgos has control of Kofan's left arm, preventing Kofan from doing any damage.
Lykourgos wants to sweep here but Kofan controlling him for the moment.
Kofan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kofan wants to get up but he can't break Lykourgos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kofan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lykourgos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lykourgos drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kofan sneaks out the side door and pushes Lykourgos away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Lykourgos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lykourgos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kofan on his heels. He'll look to pass Kofan's guard now, I'm sure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Lykourgos! Kofan is hurt baaadly! Lykourgos is firing away with more strikes - Kofan is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
