Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Allison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia fails with a takedown attempt.
Allison tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Allison fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Garcia avoids it really well and circles away.

Garcia moves into the clinch successfully.
Allison is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Garcia to keep the fight standing.

Garcia breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Garcia wants to break the clinch but can't.
Garcia has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allison avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Tyrell Allison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omar Garcia.

Garcia has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Allison regains guard immediately.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Garcia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garcia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Garcia postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Allison is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Garcia, into his guard.

Allison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garcia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allison has managed to get both his arms back between Garcia's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Garcia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Allison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Allison has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Garcia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Allison is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Garcia pulls down on the head and he's put Allison to sleep! This one is all over!
