Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blanco Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carwin comes into the arena with Mama Said Knock You Out blaring out of the sound system. Blanco Green has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Carwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blanco Green!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin wants to clinch up but Green keeps it at a distance.
No joy there for Carwin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Green fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carwin sprawls well initially but Green persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Green seems to be looking for submissions.
Carwin wants to get back to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Carwin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Carwin works his way to full guard. Good work.
Green postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Green with a nice head shot there.
Green is working Carwin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Green has gone for a leg lock! Carwin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Green's guard.
Carwin is working Green over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carwin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Carwin slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Green.

Green has hold of Carwin's hands but Carwin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Carwin wants to take a breather but Green is having none of it.
Carwin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Green with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Green is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Carwin wants to work for an arm triangle but Green is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are battling for position here. Green manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Green keeping moving, preventing Carwin from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Green seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Carwin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
