Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Wassef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cathal Pendred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pendred has chosen Going Out In Style as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wassef moves away from the strike by Pendred.
Pendred tries to bum rush Wassef with a series of wild strikes but Wassef uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pendred stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pendred wants it to stay on the feet.

Wassef fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pendred sprawls well initially but Wassef persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
