Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Down In The Park as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slade swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slade.
Slade stuffs the takedown attempt from Miller. Miller gets slowly back to his feet.

and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Slade thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Miller connects with a couple of short punches.
Slade looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Miller passes into side control.
Slade is looking for a sweep.
Slade manages to get back to half guard.

Miller wants to pass the guard but Slade is defending well.

Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Slade had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Miller is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Slade Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Miller's back instead.
Slade has the hooks in. Miller is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Slade throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Slade is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Miller knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Miller for a finish.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slade has got his arm under Miller's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Miller has spun round into Slade's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Slade is breathing heavily.

Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Slade doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Slade is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Miller is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Slade has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Miller defend it? Slade steps over the head and cranks it - Miller is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Slade!
