Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb throws a head kick that half lands.
Black lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lamb goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Black gets a clinch.
Lamb misses with the head strike.
Lamb on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Black misses with a punch on the inside.
Black gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Black postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Black makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Black is pushing down on Lamb's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lamb is fighting to maintain full guard but Black has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Lamb wants to control but Black is keeping busy.
Lamb is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Black scores with a couple of nice shots.
Black is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Black lands a nice short elbow.
Black looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Black connects with a nice short shot to Lamb's temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Black slips a nice elbow through Lamb's hands, connecting with Lamb's forehead.

Lamb is trying to control but can't.
Black drops an elbow to the side of Lamb's head.
Black is taking a breather. Lamb says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lamb has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Black is working away from the top position though.

Lamb is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Black scores with a couple of nice shots.
Black is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lamb is rocked!
Black is nestled in close to Lamb, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Oh Lamb is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lamb is looking to control Black's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lamb avoid being mounted?
Lamb seems to have got his legs back now.

Black lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Lamb quite badly. Lamb pulls Black in close trying to recover. Black postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Lamb on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Lamb doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Black!
