Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slayed kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mauricio Rua is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Nielsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Rua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nielsen swats away the attempt to clinch by Rua.
Rua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nielsen closes the distance and clinches.
Rua using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Nielsen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Nielsen is pressed up against the cage. Rua has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nielsen down to the mat. Nielsen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rua tries to clinch but Nielsen moves away
and Nielsen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nielsen.
Nielsen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rua is trying to keep an underhook but Nielsen manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Rua looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rua is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nielsen decides to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rua, right into the meat.
Nielsen is breathing heavily.
Rua cracks Nielsen with a right hand to the side of the head.
A punch combination from Nielsen misses.
Nielsen keeps the fight on the outside.
Rua closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nielsen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Rua manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Rua connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nielsen is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rua drops Nielsen with a huge uppercut! Nielsen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rua is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mauricio Rua!
