Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between mark strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, mark strike! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Drago! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! strike walks into a jab.
It looks like mark strike has been cut. Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago tries to keep at a distance but strike has taken the fight into the clinch. strike escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
strike looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. strike performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Drago tries to kick strike off but strike keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Drago tries to kick strike off in order to stand up. strike Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. strike controls the position. Drago wants to get back to his feet. Drago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with strike. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. strike working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Drago is trying to get back to his feet. strike takes a little break here. Drago wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Drago is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but strike has just dragged him back down to the mat. strike is chipping away with strikes.
The referee asks strike politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. strike prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Drago pushes strike away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, strike gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. strike has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. strike throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drago's waist but Drago gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing strike off to one side. Drago fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but strike is out of range. Drago swings for the body but strike moves out of range.
strike looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Drago looks gassed! strike stands up out of the half guard. Drago throws a looping overhand right but strike ducks down to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. strike throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Drago tries to work over strike's front leg with a kick but strike checks it. strike shoots in and bounces Drago off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. strike passes into half guard. Drago pushes strike off looking to stand but strike dives back in and keeps control.
strike controlling the action here. strike working over Drago with some ground and pound. Drago looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. strike frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. strike tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. strike seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Drago for as long as he can get away with. strike working Drago over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

strike shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. strike prevents Drago from getting back to his feet. strike is stalling in the full guard. strike sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Drago's guard. Drago pushes strike off looking to stand but strike dives back in and keeps control.
strike is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drago is trying to stand.
strike looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Drago is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. strike working Drago over with strikes. strike seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. strike passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Drago! strike looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. mark strike just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. strike shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. strike showed some decent athleticism there. Drago is trying to stand up here but strike is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. strike moves nicely into side control. strike remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Drago is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, strike asserts his dominance and retains side control. strike is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Drago will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. strike's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. strike stands up. strike fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

strike darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. strike takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Drago looks like he's trying to stand up.
strike works his foot free and advances to mount. strike working away from the top, dropping strikes. Drago takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. strike controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. mark strike just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. A head kick from strike lands but Drago takes it in his stride. Drago falls off balance throwing a combination
and strike counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. strike lands a couple of decent looking shots. strike decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. strike lands with an overhand left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. strike scores with a head kick.
strike thuds his right hand into Drago's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. strike scores with a takedown into Drago's guard. Drago is wriggling around but strike manages to pass to half guard.
strike decides to stand up. strike throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Drago's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. strike shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. strike landing strikes, looking to finish! strike with a couple of short strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Drago wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
strike is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Drago can do to turn this around? The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. strike is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Ivan Drago has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! strike closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. strike controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! mark strike showed his dominance in that final round. Well strike has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
