Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Rapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Monster by Skillet as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitch Rapp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Monty Brown! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rapp takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Brown misses with a looping right. Rapp throws a jab when Brown was well out of range. Brown lands the left hand. Brown throws a hook to the side of Rapp's head but Rapp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brown blocks a jab. Rapp throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range. Brown on the wrong end of a nice jab. Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brown slips a jab from Rapp. Rapp misses with a body punch
and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. Rapp fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown wants to control from the top but Rapp keeps moving. Rapp has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Brown has passed into side control.
Rapp tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rapp is working hard here to advance position. Brown throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The strikes coming from Brown are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Brown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rapp is looking to reverse the position. Brown throwing shots but missing, from side control. Rapp is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brown has just dragged him back down to the mat. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rapp keeps working. Rapp wants to control but Brown postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown with the ground and pound but Rapp regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Rapp has his hands clasped together around Brown's back. He's all about the action. Rapp makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rapp. Rapp managing to control the position. Rapp wants to stand up but Brown is controlling him. Brown scoring with punches to the head and body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rapp swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is pushing down on Rapp's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rapp is fighting to maintain full guard but Brown has managed to sneak the leg through. Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Brown not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rapp tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control. Rapp wants to get back to his feet.
Brown takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brown is pressing down on Rapp's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rapp is holding on for now. Rapp has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though. Rapp is defending against the submission attempts here by Brown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown prevents Rapp from improving his position. Brown missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rapp is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard. Brown thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Rapp is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Brown wants to work for an arm triangle but Rapp is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rapp keeps control of the position for the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monty Brown dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A big left from Brown misses. Rapp looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Donk. Brown catches Rapp right on the button with a cross. A slow jab from Rapp misses its intended target. Brown keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rapp. Nice defenses there by Rapp. Rapp jabs at Brown's body. Rapp fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rapp lands with an uppercut that bounces Brown off the cage and back into range. Brown takes a shot right to the bread basket. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Brown scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rapp showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rapp. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet. Brown pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mitch Rapp is winning the standup battle so far. Brown scores with a jab. Brown throws a big shot that misses. A telegraphed right hand from Rapp misses the target. Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brown showed some decent athleticism there. We've been hearing good reports from Rapp's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Rapp blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brown. Brown missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown working the head and body with strikes. Brown prevents Rapp from improving his position. Brown wants to take a breather but Rapp is having none of it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brown throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rapp gets full guard. Brown looking to pass the guard. Rapp keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rapp wriggles free and stands up. A decent looking cross lands there for Brown. Rapp on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rapp tries to move into range but Brown moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Rapp takes one on the button. Brown has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Rapp moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Some wild striking there from Rapp.
Brown cracks Rapp with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Rapp defending well as Brown loads up on a big left hand. Brown lands a jab to the nose. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brown ducks under a wild hook from Rapp. Brown throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rapp counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Rapp throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brown misses the shot to the body. Rapp is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rapp swats away the attempt to clinch by Brown. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rapp tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Rapp. Rapp misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monty Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Brown fails to land the takedown. Monty Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rapp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brown. Rapp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Rapp closes the distance and lands a one-two. Nice uppercut there from Brown. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rapp enables Brown to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rapp manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Brown looking to sit in guard and control but Rapp gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown is looking for a triangle but Rapp pushes his legs off easily.

Rapp decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Brown shoots in for a takedown but Rapp shows good takedown defense. Brown avoids the body shot from Rapp.
Brown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rapp. Brown ducks under a wild hook from Rapp.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown drops his hands momentarily and Rapp takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brown showed some decent athleticism there. Rapp wants to get back to full guard. Brown wants to control but Rapp is keeping him busy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brown missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Brown thows a huge punch but Rapp dodges it nicely.

Rapp is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rapp tries to kick Brown off but Brown keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rapp keeping control of the position. Brown working over Rapp with some ground and pound. Rapp looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown content to control rather than advance. Brown is keen to just control but Rapp is a slippery customer. Rapp is looking to control Brown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rapp avoid being mounted? Brown throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rapp wants to get back to his feet. Monty Brown has got the better of the ground game so far. Brown is stalling here. Rapp is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brown seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rapp has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rapp is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Brown will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mitch Rapp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rapp wants to stand but Brown has his arm trapped.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Monty Brown. I've got Brown winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Monty Brown! A relieved looking Monty Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
