Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Preston Mckay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dude Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Preston Mckay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dude Man! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mckay misses with a wild body shot. Man gets a takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Man working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mckay kicks Man off and gets back to his feet. Mckay takes the fight into the clinch. A hook to the body from Man.

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Man has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Man thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mckay wants to improve his position but Man is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Man trying to control from half guard but Mckay is working away. Man wants to stand up but Mckay is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Man thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Man tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mckay. Mckay is pressing down on Man's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Man working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Man tries to stand but Mckay is controlling from the bottom. Mckay is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Man wants to stand but Mckay is controlling his posture from full guard. Mckay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Man doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Man manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Man decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Man scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Man decides to stand back up. Man steps back and let's Mckay get back to his feet.

Man creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mckay sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Mckay wants to control but Man postures up. Man has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Man drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mckay is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Man off and has taken his back! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Man turns into Mckay and is now in his guard.

Man gets to his feet - Mckay follows without any prompting. Mckay is breathing heavily. Man gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Man manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mckay has picked Man up - he's going for a ride! Mckay dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Mckay will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Man wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Man manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Man utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Man looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mckay is one step ahead there. Mckay stands up and waves to Man to follow him. Mckay tries to keep at a distance but Man has taken the fight into the clinch.

Man looking for a guillotine here but Mckay defends easily.
Man pushes Mckay off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Man lands in his opponent's guard. Mckay working a defensive guard here.
Mckay is adopting a defensive guard. Man stands up and waves to Mckay to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Man darts in and clinches Mckay up against the cage. Mckay has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Man is trying to keep an underhook but Mckay manages to get the takedown into half guard. Man is looking for a sweep. Mckay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Man is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mckay scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mckay decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Preston Mckay will probably get the nod. That's time! Mckay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Man is looking to improve his position but Mckay isn't that keen on the idea. Mckay avoids the attempt from Man to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckay goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Man is on top in guard.
Man is looking to work some ground and pound but Mckay has wrist control. Mckay has his foot on Man's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Man works his way back into a safe position though. Dude Man has got the better of the ground game so far. Man decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Mckay has Man up against the cage in a clinch.

Mckay preventing the sweep. Mckay stands up from Man's guard - Mckay perhaps looking for a knockout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mckay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mckay's guard. Mckay is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Man defends well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Man is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Man throwing strikes from guard but Mckay blocks nicely. That's four minutes gone in the round. Man decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mckay, up you get! Mckay throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease. Mckay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man gets back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Man wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Preston Mckay. I think Mckay has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
