Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guss Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zab Super (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Guss Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zab Super! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Super misses with a hook. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Super. Super shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Steel as he avoids it easily. Super looks to throw the jab but Steel is out of range. Nice jab there from Super. Steel takes one to the chin there. Super throws a solid leg kick but Steel takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Super. Super will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Super lands a right hook to the body.
Super throws an overhand right that lands on Steel's shoulder, as Steel tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Super throws a jab when Steel was well out of range. Super dips to his left and cracks Steel with an uppercut! Super fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Steel on the side of the head. Super is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Steel keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Super. Steel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Super. Guss Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zab Super. Super moves to clinch but Steel breaks away and Steel counters with a shoot takedown. Super fights it but they end up in guard. Steel with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Super avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Steel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Steel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Steel looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Super is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Steel, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel is looking for a triangle but Super pushes his legs off easily.
Steel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Super is aware though and is defending well. Steel wants to sweep here but Super controlling him for the moment. Steel looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Super passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Super pulls his head out easily. Steel looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Steel with the active half guard here but Super passes nicely into side control. Steel is trying to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Guss Steel will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Super, as that shot connected.
It looks like Guss Steel has been cut. Super lands a glancing blow to the side of Steel's head. Super throws a jab when Steel was well out of range. Super tries to clinch up. Super shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steel as he jumps to the side. Steel moves out of range of the body kick. Super swings for the body but Steel moves out of range.
No joy there for Super, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Super tries to clinch up. Super might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Super tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steel paws at him with a jab and circles away. Super misses with a takedown and Steel counters with a shoot takedown. Super fights it but they end up in guard. Steel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Steel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Super looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Super looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Super! Steel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Super off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Super fending off the submission attempt from Steel. Steel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Super won't enjoy being in this position. Steel looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Super is tapping - it's over boys! Steel picks up the submission victory!
