Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steveo Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jorge Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steveo Perkins! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa tries to clinch up. Perkins has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sosa is landing a low percentage of strikes. Sosa moves forwards but Perkins connects with a nice, crisp jab. Perkins swats away the attempt to clinch by Sosa. Sosa fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sosa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Perkins clinches with his opponent.
Sosa is fighting off a takedown attempt but Perkins is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sosa to the mat. Sosa regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sosa will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Perkins trying to control but Sosa is working from the bottom. Sosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sosa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Perkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sosa punishing his opponent with strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Perkins is squirming around, avoiding Sosa's attempts to control the action. Perkins is working to get back to half guard.
Sosa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Perkins looks a forlorn figure.
Sosa landing strikes from the mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sosa landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sosa with a couple of short strikes. Perkins is trying desperately to improve position. Sosa with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sosa working for a submission but Perkins is keeping him at bay. Perkins is in a horrible position here. Sosa smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Perkins's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sosa working Perkins over with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Sosa. Sosa unloading with bombs!
Perkins is rocked! Perkins is in a horrible position here. Sosa smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Perkins is still in real trouble! Can Sosa finish him? Sosa lands a big shot to the head and Perkins winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
