Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Saigon The Yard Father (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Boulks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Yard Father comes to the cage accompanied by Saigon - Get Busy. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saigon The Yard Father! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Boulks! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Yard Father shoots in but Boulks avoids the takedown attempt easily. Will Boulks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boulks scores with a jab to the head.
The Yard Father fails with a takedown attempt. The Yard Father shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Boulks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saigon The Yard Father. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Yard Father goes for a double leg but Boulks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Boulks continues to drive forward. The Yard Father has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boulks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The Yard Father is working for takedown but Boulks is calmly controlling the position for now. Boulks stops a takedown attempt from The Yard Father.

Boulks misses with a hook from the clinch. Boulks lands a right hand. Boulks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A swing and a miss from Boulks. The Yard Father shoots in and bounces Boulks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Boulks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The Yard Father postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boulks is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of The Yard Father, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boulks in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boulks won't allow The Yard Father to sweep him here. Boulks throws a strike but The Yard Father rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The Yard Father is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Boulks looking for a sweep. Not yet Boulks, not yet. The Yard Father passes easily into side control. Nice work. Boulks is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boulks is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Boulks regains full guard. Nicely done. Boulks has his foot on The Yard Father's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Yard Father works his way back into a safe position though. Boulks looking for submissions from the bottom but instead The Yard Father passes into side control.
The Yard Father working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Yard Father is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boulks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Boulks is looking to regain half guard here but The Yard Father keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Yard Father tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The Yard Father has let go of the choke. It looks like he might have it! Boulks tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - The Yard Father cranks the arm and Boulks screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Boulks, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Saigon The Yard Father! Saigon The Yard Father thanked the fans post fight for their support. The defeated Will Boulks had this to say: 'Sorry,next time I will win..I promise'.
