Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Cobsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Soto Makikomi! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makikomi rushes Cobsen and presses him up against the cage. Makikomi fails to pull guard.
Cobsen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Makikomi's defenses.
It looks like Soto Makikomi has been cut. Makikomi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cobsen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cobsen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Makikomi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cobsen! Makikomi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cobsen's face.

It looks like Joe Cobsen has been cut. Makikomi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cobsen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Makikomi throws a strike there. Cobsen manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cobsen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Cobsen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Makikomi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cobsen's calf. Cobsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Makikomi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Makikomi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Makikomi misses with a wild body shot. Cobsen tries to clinch but Makikomi is having none of it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Makikomi connects with a high kick. Cobsen closes the distance but Makikomi moves to the side and Makikomi counters with a low kick, right behind Cobsen 's knee. Makikomi throws a leg kick that misses.

Cobsen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Makikomi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cobsen tries to kick Makikomi off but Makikomi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Makikomi trying to control the action but Cobsen is working from the bottom. Makikomi moves nicely into side control. Makikomi lands a decent elbow from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Soto Makikomi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Makikomi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
