Chendler has chosen t.i. feat trae tha truth-check this as his entrance music. Maikl Chendler will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chendler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Walden struggling a bit here.
The ground and pound from Chendler seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Chendler trying to control the action but Walden is working from the bottom.
Chendler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Walden haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Walden tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Chendler connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Walden some visible discomfort.
Walden wants to control but Chendler postures up.
Walden manages to get back to half guard.
Walden is trying to maintain the position but Chendler is very close to passing his half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chendler is taking a breather. Walden says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Walden is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Chendler is tapping! Great win for Walden!

Thor Walden spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
