Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pip Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pip Pop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robert Bennett! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pop looks for a takedown but Bennett sprawls well. Pop moves out of range as Bennett strikes. Pop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Bennett jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bennett bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pop's head backwards. Nice takedown defense from Bennett. No joy for Pop on that attempt. Pop moves into the clinch. Bennett lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pop backwards. Bennett lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pop backwards. Bennett wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pop misses with a punch on the inside.
Bennett struggles to land a body shot inside as Pop controls his hands.
Bennett lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pop backwards. Pop crunches a lovely knee into Bennett's ribcage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pop is working for takedown but Bennett is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pip Pop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bennett is trying to break the clinch but Pop is controlling him. Pop stalling in the clinch but Bennett improves position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pop has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bennett is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bennett gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pop.
Bennett looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short left from Bennett. Pop manages to pull guard.
Pop had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bennett defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bennett is sitting in close to Pop's body. Pop has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bennett is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bennett is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pop.
