Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abe Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Handle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Handle has chosen Right On as his entrance music. Max Handle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Abe Cain's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abe Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Handle!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handle looks to clinch
and Cain counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Handle is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Handle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Handle stuffs the takedown.
Cain stuffs the takedown attempt from Handle. Handle gets slowly back to his feet.
Handle closes the distance but Cain moves to the side
and Cain counters with a nice body kick.
Cain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Handle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Handle shoots for a double leg takedown but Cain sprawls well. He's pushed Handle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Handle wants to clinch.
Cain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Handle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Handle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cain circles away.
Abe Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Handle.
Handle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cain sprawls well. Cain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Handle gets slowly back to his feet.

Handle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Cain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Handle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Handle has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Handle lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Cain shoots in looking for a takedown but Handle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Handle should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cain clinches up with Handle and pushes him back against the cage.

Cain shoots in for a double leg but Handle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cain tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Handle defends well and Cain ends up having to push Handle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Handle dives in for a single leg takedown but Cain sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Handle lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cain prevents a body shot from Handle.

Handle tries to throw a body punch but Cain avoids it by throwing Handle back against the cage.

Max Handle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Handle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Cain has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Handle off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Cain obliges.
Handle trying to control the position but instead, Cain has worked for underhooks and has pushed Handle into the cage.
Max Handle seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

A frustrated look appears on Handle's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Handle is pressed up against the cage. Cain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Handle down to the mat. Handle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abe Cain. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Handle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Handle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cain controls Handle momentarily but Handle frees himself.
Cain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Max Handle is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Handle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Handle throws a strike but Cain rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Max Handle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Handle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
