Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Rave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamora comes into the arena with Nirvana - Lake of Fire blaring out of the sound system. Rave has chosen What Happened? as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Zamora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Craig Rave! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rave closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zamora's guard. Rave would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rave working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Rave throwing strikes from guard but Zamora blocks nicely. Rave throws a big right hand that misses. Zamora seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Zamora bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rave's guard. Rave looking for a sweep. Not yet Rave, not yet. Rave working for a triangle but Zamora defends it easily.
Zamora postures up and lands a big shot to Rave's brow. Rave working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Zamora has passed into half guard!
Rave wants to get back to his feet.

Zamora blocks the strikes from Rave.
Zamora winds up and cracks Rave with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zamora is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Zamora looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Rave is looking to improve his position.
Rave is pressing down on Zamora's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rave looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Zamora passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rave is trying to stand.
Rave is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rave regains full guard. Nicely done. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rave avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rave avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rave looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zamora is one step ahead there. Rave is trying to keep Zamora in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rave escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zamora gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Zamora stops Rave from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zamora trying to control the position from guard on top but Rave is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zamora postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rave wants to control but Zamora passes easily into half guard.
Zamora is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rave is trying to stand back up but Zamora is controlling him
Zamora prevents Rave from improving his position. Zamora is thwarting Rave's attempts to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rave is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Rave dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Zamora checks the leg kick nicely there.
Rave avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rave ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Rave lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zamora's sensitive parts. A head kick misses from Zamora. Zamora is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Zamora uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rave has time to react. Rave pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zamora shoots in and drives through. Rave sprawls well. Sloppy strikes from Rave. Those never looked like landing. Zamora lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rave circles away quickly and effectively. A bone on bone clash there as Rave blocks the leg kick.
Rave shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zamora but Zamora pushes him off and we're back to square one. Zamora shoots in for a double leg but Rave sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zamora misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zamora rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rave moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Zamora looks for the body kick but Rave saw that one coming. Zamora is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rave sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Zamora. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zamora fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rave manages to avoid it. Rave cracks the inside of Zamora's front leg. Zamora takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Donk. Zamora catches Rave right on the button with a cross. Rave fails with a takedown attempt. Oooh a lovely combination from Zamora sends Rave down but not out. Zamora dives into side control looking to finish.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rave is looking for a sweep. Rave is still in real trouble! Can Zamora finish him? Zamora cracks Rave with an elbow. That is naaassty. Zamora working the head and body with strikes. Rave tries to get back to half guard but can't. Craig Rave has got the better of the ground game so far. Zamora scoring with punches from side control. Rave gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Rave tries to roll over but Zamora keeps him under control. Rave is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zamora's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zamora's back! Rave has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zamora has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Rave has the hooks in. Zamora is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Rave seems to have recovered his senses. Zamora is working hard here to advance position. Well, with Rave on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Zamora is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zamora is trying to remain composed but Rave is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. A bit of a pause in the action here. Rave controlling the positon. Zamora manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rave's guard. Nice work there by Zamora.
Rave striking off his back but it's not causing Zamora any problems. Rave controls Zamora momentarily but Zamora frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zamora accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zamora won't allow Rave to get back to his feet. Rave is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rave controls Zamora momentarily but Zamora frees himself. Rave preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Zamora has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rave manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rave scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Zamora?

That was a close second round but I would say that Danny Zamora will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Zamora goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A head kick misses from Zamora. Rave avoids the head kick by Zamora.

Zamora cracks Rave with a good jab. Danny Zamora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rave looks for a takedown but Zamora sprawls well. Rave throws a right and a left that Zamora avoids nicely. Zamora checks a low kick from Rave. Zamora throws a head kick but Rave moves out of range.

Zamora lands the left hand. Rave tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zamora defends well and Rave ends up having to push Zamora into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rave tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zamora smiles and moves away.
Danny Zamora has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Rave. Zamora looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rave! Rave takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zamora cracks Rave with a big elbow. Zamora lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Zamora is looking to take a break and control but Rave is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rave regains half guard. Zamora seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rave does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zamora with the ground and pound but Rave uses the opportunity to regain guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zamora chips away with some ground and pound. Rave keeping moving, preventing Zamora from controlling successfully. Rave is looking to stand back up but Zamora counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rave. Zamora landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Rave is trying to get back to full guard. Zamora is keen to just control but Rave is a slippery customer. Nice strikes from Zamora there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zamora throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rave keeping control of the position. Zamora is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rave defends it well. Rave looks like he's trying to stand up.

Rave wants to control the pace but Zamora is squirming around nicely. Rave is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zamora slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Zamora showed his dominance in that final round. I think Zamora has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
