Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Apo Abukay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Apo Abukay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Dominguez !
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abukay goes for a double leg but Dominguez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dominguez continues to drive forward.
Abukay changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dominguez fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dominguez is pressed up against the cage. Abukay has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dominguez down to the mat. Dominguez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Apo Abukay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dominguez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dominguez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Abukay looks for a takedown but Dominguez sprawls well.

and Abukay counters with a takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Abukay tries for a kimura but Dominguez is defending well.
Abukay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dominguez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dominguez wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Abukay has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Dominguez 's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Dominguez is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Abukay!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Apo Abukay!
In his post fight interview, Apo Abukay gave a big smile as he said 'did you crack my teeth men? I guess not hehehe'.
