Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is wrecking ball. Diesel has chosen We Own It - 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa as his entrance music. The key to victory for Dave Batista has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Diesel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Diesel has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Batista avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Batista has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Diesel prevents Batista from breaking the clinch.
Diesel wants to take the fight to the mat but Batista manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diesel can do anything to dispel that myth.

Diesel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Batista.

Diesel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Batista fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diesel.

No joy there for Batista, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Batista throws a series of punches but Diesel moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Diesel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Diesel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Batista feints and then cracks Diesel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Diesel down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Batista lands a left and a right that send Diesel crashing to the mat, dazed. Batista thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diesel shoots in looking for a takedown but Batista manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diesel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Batista throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Diesel takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Batista feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diesels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Batista throws a nice outside leg kick.
Batista tries to bum rush Diesel with a series of wild strikes but Diesel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Diesel takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A nice combination there by Batista.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Batista fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diesel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Batista is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Batista seems to be stalking Diesel here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Diesel drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
