Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kisame Hoshigaki!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett feints and as Hoshigaki raises his hands in defense, Sackett changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sackett is looking to stand up but Hoshigaki won't let him.
Hoshigaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sackett wants to stand but Hoshigaki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Sackett has gone for a leg lock! Hoshigaki slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sackett's guard.

Sackett escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hoshigaki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoshigaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hoshigaki stands and steps away. Sackett gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
A shot to the liver by Hoshigaki. Beautiful body shot.
Sackett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoshigaki's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sackett is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hoshigaki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hoshigaki has escaped and now he's on top!
Sackett controls Hoshigaki momentarily but Hoshigaki frees himself.
Sackett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoshigaki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sackett is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hoshigaki is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Sackett is not content to let Hoshigaki control the position.
Sackett has one foot on Hoshigaki's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Hoshigaki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoshigaki wants it to stay on the feet.
Sackett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoshigaki tries to avoid it but Sackett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoshigaki to the ground. Hoshigaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hoshigaki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sackett tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hoshigaki defends well and Sackett ends up having to push Hoshigaki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sackett has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hoshigaki after a bit of a struggle.

Sackett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hoshigaki moves into range and clinches up with Sackett.

Hoshigaki creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sackett's defenses.

A left hand lands to the body for Hoshigaki.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hoshigaki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hoshigaki lands an elbow inside.
A left hand lands to the body for Hoshigaki.
Hoshigaki will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sackett up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kisame Hoshigaki dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sackett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hoshigaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sackett somewhat.
Sackett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Hoshigaki dips a shoulder and cracks Sackett with a mighty uppercut! Sackett falls back against the cage and Hoshigaki unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sackett is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hoshigaki screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
