The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilas dives in and grabs Stephens's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stephens pushes down on Gilas's head and hops out.
Stephens scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Rob Gilas has been cut.
Gilas throws a sloppy body shot
and Stephens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stephens goes for a small jab and connects. Now Stephens goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Gilas stumbles back but Stephens runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Gilas to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Gilas will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ron Jeremy Stephens!
