Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Parker Molina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson Fury has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Parker Molina's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Parker Molina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyson Fury!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molina keeps the fight on the outside.

Fury bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Molina is pushing Fury's head away, looking to escape. Fury manages to hold on to the position though.

Fury wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Molina, who protects the arm well.

Fury goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Molina rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fury's guard! Nice work there by Molina!

Fury feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We're going to have a standup here because Parker Molina wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tyson Fury wasn't active enough on the ground.

and Molina decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fury's guard.

Fury working for submissions but it's allowed Molina to get to half guard.
Fury tries to get to full guard but Molina has control of the leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fury pushes Molina off but Molina dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Fury showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Fury stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fury wants it to stay on the feet.
Molina shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Fury counters with a shoot takedown. Molina fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Molina manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Fury breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fury shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Molina's guard.

Fury is pushing down on Molina's leg trying to pass to half guard. Molina is fighting to maintain full guard but Fury has managed to sneak the leg through.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Molina is not content to let Fury control the position.

Fury decides to stand up.
Fury avoids the head kick by Molina.

Fury rushes Molina and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fury is trying to ground and pound but Molina uses the momentary lack of control by Fury to regain half guard.
Fury is trying to control. Molina wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fury wants to free his trapped foot but Molina is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tyson Fury.
Fury misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Molina shoots in looking for a takedown but Fury manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Molina's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fury dives in and scores a takedown into Molina's guard.
Fury wants to control from the top but Molina keeps moving.
Fury might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Molina haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Parker Molina has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tyson Fury is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tyson Fury comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fury has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
