Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ground Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Blyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blyer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye Of The Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ground Bot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Rocky Blyer! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bot dodges the punch combination from Blyer.
Blyer lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Ground Bot has been cut. Blyer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bot decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Blyer's guard. Blyer has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bot is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bot keeps control of Blyer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Blyer wants to break free but Bot has control.
Bot escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bot stalks Blyer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blyer's face. Blyer staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Rocky Blyer has been cut. Bot ducks right into an uppercut from Blyer. A decent looking cross lands there for Bot. Bot gets the takedown into side control. Blyer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bot has just dragged him back down to the mat. Blyer parries the strikes from Bot easily there. Bot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Blyer to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blyer is not content to let Bot control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bot in side control, throwing shots but Blyer defends. Bot trying to control the position but Blyer is working away. Blyer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Bot has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bot throwing shots but missing, from side control. Blyer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Bot seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bot looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Blyer is avoiding damage well.
Blyer is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bot is controlling him well. Bot throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Bot creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blyer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Blyer wants to get back to his feet. Bot trying to control the position but Blyer is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Bot trying to control the position but Blyer is working away. Blyer is trying to get back to his feet. Bot controls the position. Blyer is pushing Bot's head away, looking to escape. Bot manages to hold on to the position though. Blyer is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Blyer taking a bit of punishment here - Bot scoring with strikes. Bot trying to control the position but Blyer is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ground and pound from Bot seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bot trying to control the action but Blyer is working from the bottom. Blyer parries the strikes from Bot easily there. Bot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Blyer to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blyer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bot has just dragged him back down to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ground Bot dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bot closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bot prevents Blyer from standing back up.
Bot is keen to just control but Blyer is a slippery customer. Bot wants to pass to mount but Blyer is defending the position. Bot stops Blyer from getting back to his feet.
Ground Bot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Blyer is staying active underneath Bot, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Blyer is trying to stand up here but Bot is controlling him well. Bot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blyer manages to escape and get back to his feet! Blyer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bot. Blyer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bot slips a jab and a cross from Blyer.

Bot throws a nice inside leg kick. Blyer is breathing heavily. Bot fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Blyer. Bot lands a big head kick that sends Blyer tumbling to the mat! Bot takes a step backwards and waves Blyer back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice defenses there by Bot. Bot doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bot shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bot was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

He's worked his way up against the cage but Bot has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bot misses with the ground and pound. Blyer is not content to let Bot control the position. Blyer wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Blyer wants to get back to his feet but Bot is dominant here and he's now got Blyer's back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Bot's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Bot is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Blyer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Blyer for a finish. Blyer is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bot off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blyer holding both Bot 's hands and preventing any damage. Bot lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blyer is trying to get back to his feet but Bot has full control of the position and if anything, Blyer has just worked his way into a worse spot. Blyer defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Blyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Bot is just out of range. Blyer throws a series of punches but Bot moves out of range. Blyer throws a lazy uppercut
and Bot counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bot lands a couple of elbows. Blyer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bot is controlling him. Bot slips nicely into half guard. Bot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blyer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bot lands with a punch from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bot stalling. Bot missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blyer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bot. Bot slips a nice elbow through Blyer's hands, connecting with Blyer's forehead. Blyer is looking to escape. Bot trying to control from half guard but Blyer is working away. Bot not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Blyer wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bot looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Blyer is trying to stand back up but Bot is controlling him

Bot landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bot seems to be working for a kimura but Blyer defends the submission attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blyer keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot tries to pass the half guard into mount. Blyer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rocky Blyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Blyer is looking to get back to is feet but Bot passes into side control.
Blyer prevents Bot from improving position. Blyer tries to escape but Bot is in control. Bot wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blyer, who protects the arm well. Blyer pushes Bot away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bot gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Blyer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bot sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Blyer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bot is looking to take a break and control but Blyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bot moves into full mount!
And that's the end of the fight! Ground Bot showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bot, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
