The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and ORourke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
ORourke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rivers on the side of the head.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rivers - that will leave a mark!
ORourke dodges the punch combination from Rivers.
ORourke looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rivers misses with a series of wild punches.
ORourke throws the left hand but Rivers avoids the punch easily.

Rivers works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

ORourke throws a front kick that sends Rivers stumbling back into the cage.

ORourke has managed to clinch.
ORourke throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A short right hand to the side of the head by ORourke.
ORourke creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Rivers with a big uppercut! Rivers tries to clinch up but ORourke pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Rivers to the mat! Rivers covers up and ORourke unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
