The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
fili goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
fili tries to clinch up.
fili lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kozlov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kozlov wants to control but fili is keeping him busy.
Kozlov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
fili regains half guard, as Kozlov was trying to land strikes.
Kozlov moves nicely into side control.
Kozlov is putting a hurting on fili here, landing some big shots from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Kozlov tries for a kimura but fili is defending well.

Kozlov tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
fili manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kozlov's best efforts.
Kozlov is breathing heavily.
fili is trying to maintain the position but Kozlov is very close to passing his half guard.
fili tries to kick Kozlov off but Kozlov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kozlov tries to pass the half guard into mount. fili knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
fili throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
fili lands with a nice combination. Kozlov backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Vladimir Kozlov has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
fili closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Kozlov out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
