Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Quagmire Yeah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gordon's choice of entrance music: Slipknot-The Blister Exists. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon moves into the clinch.
Yeah letting Gordon take a breather here.
Yeah tries to pull guard but Gordon forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Yeah drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gordon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gordon putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Yeah in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Gordon manages to break the clinch.
Yeah looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gordon is fending him off so far but Yeah persists. Nope, Gordon circles away and we're back to standing.

Yeah gets tackled into the cage by Gordon. Gordon maintains the clinch.

Gordon's coach down at Boomerang!! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gordon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Flash Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gordon rushes Yeah and presses him up against the cage.
Gordon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Yeah's defenses.
Gordon scores with a hook to the body.
Yeah is trying to pull guard but Gordon has him pressed against the cage.

Yeah drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gordon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yeah has Gordon in his guard.
Gordon won't allow Yeah to sweep him here.
Gordon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Gordon stands and steps away. Yeah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Gordon clinches up against the cage.
Gordon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gordon throws a head kick but Yeah moves out of range.
Gordon takes the fight into the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gordon tries to land knees in the clinch but Yeah avoids the damage to the body.
Gordon tries to circle away but Yeah has him pinned against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Gordon.
I was talking to Yeah's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Gordon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gordon forces Yeah back against the cage and clinches.
A right hook to the body lands for Gordon.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yeah tries to pull guard but Gordon forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Gordon.
Yeah looking for a takedown.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Yeah fails to pull guard.
Gordon landing knees to the head.

Yeah trying to stall but Gordon improves his position.

Yeah postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gordon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Yeah, into his guard.
Yeah is looking for a triangle here but Gordon uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Yeah is letting Gordon control him for a moment.
Yeah on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yeah tries to get out of the position.

Gordon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Yeah is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gordon stands up from half guard.
A head kick misses from Gordon.
Gordon clinches up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yeah pulls guard successfully.
Gordon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yeah is proving hard to escape from.
Gordon won't allow Yeah to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Yeah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gordon has closed the distance and engaged Yeah in a clinch.
Gordon drags the fight down to the ground.
Gordon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Yeah won't allow Gordon to sweep him here.

Gordon lands a head kick. Yeah smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Flash Gordon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Yeah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gordon tries to avoid it but Yeah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gordon to the ground. Gordon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gordon lands a good knee to the midsection. Yeah won't want to take too many of those.
Yeah pulls guard effortlessly.
Yeah preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Gordon is working Yeah over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Yeah drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gordon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gordon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gordon!

Gordon gets to mount! Yeah was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Yeah keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gordon controlling the pace for now.
Yeah is looking to improve his position but Gordon isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Flash Gordon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Yeah can't find room to land a body shot as Gordon controls the action.
Gordon lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Yeah is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gordon lands an elbow inside that Yeah shrugs off.
And that's the end of the fight!
Flash Gordon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gordon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
