Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slobodan Stosevski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dany Devito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slobodan Stosevski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dany Devito! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stosevski shoots in looking for a takedown. Devito tries to sprawl out of it but Stosevski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Devito manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stosevski gets a takedown into half guard. Devito wants to improve his position but Stosevski is controlling well.
Devito actively working from the bottom here. Stosevski is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's one minute gone in the round. Devito has an active guard here but Stosevski has managed to pass into half guard.
Stosevski is trying to control. Devito wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Devito is pressing down on Stosevski's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Stosevski wants to control from the top but Devito keeps moving. Devito has his hands on Stosevski's head, controlling the position. Stosevski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Devito had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stosevski defends it easily. Devito controls Stosevski momentarily but Stosevski frees himself. Devito working for a triangle but Stosevski defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Devito has his foot on Stosevski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stosevski works his way back into a safe position though. Stosevski wants to control from the top but Devito keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stosevski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Devito tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stosevski trying to control the position from guard on top but Devito is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stosevski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Slobodan Stosevski has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Stosevski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stosevski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Devito trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Stosevski looking to control but Devito is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stosevski content just to control the position here. Devito manages to regain half guard. Good work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Devito looking for subs from the bottom but Stosevski mounts him! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Devito is working to get back to half guard.

A close round but Dany Devito will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Devito goes for a double leg but Stosevski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stosevski continues to drive forward. Devito fails to pull guard.

Slobodan Stosevski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dany Devito. Devito jumps guard but Stosevski turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stosevski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stosevski fails with a takedown attempt. Stosevski drives through with a takedown into guard. Devito wants to improve his position but instead Stosevski has moved into half guard.
Devito tries to get to full guard but Stosevski has control of the leg. Dany Devito has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stosevski is looking to take a break and control but Devito is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Devito looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Devito looking for submissions off his back. Devito controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Devito tries to get to full guard but Stosevski has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stosevski is keen to just control but Devito is a slippery customer. Devito wants to control but Stosevski is keeping busy and won't allow it. Stosevski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stosevski wants to control but Devito is keeping him busy. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Slobodan Stosevski. Devito doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stosevski counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Devito is lucky that one didn't land flush. Stosevski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Devito tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stosevski swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stosevski ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Stosevski leaves Devito with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Devito misses with a left hand and Stosevski makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Devito is breathing heavily. Devito shoots in but no luck this time. Stosevski connects with a body shot. Stosevski with a poor takedown and Devito counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stosevski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stosevski with the ground and pound but Devito uses the opportunity to regain guard. Devito is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Devito is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Devito keeping moving, preventing Stosevski from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Devito is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Devito trying to control the position from guard on top but Stosevski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Devito stands and throws Stosevski's legs to the side, diving into side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Devito advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Slobodan Stosevski will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Stosevski fails in his attempt to clinch. Devito throws a leg kick and Stosevski counters by moving into the clinch. Devito is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stosevski to keep the fight standing. Stosevski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Devito bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stosevski managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Devito.
Devito swings around for an armbar but Stosevski sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Devito's guard. Stosevski is fighting to break Devito's control of his arms but Devito is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Stosevski trying to control the position from guard on top but Devito is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Devito has his foot on Stosevski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stosevski works his way back into a safe position though.

Devito is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stosevski defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Devito trying to strike off his back.
Devito keeping moving, preventing Stosevski from controlling successfully. Stosevski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Devito looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Devito wants to pass the guard but Stosevski is keeping the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Devito advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stosevski prevents Devito from improving position. Devito trying to control the action but Stosevski is working from the bottom. Devito moves into full mount! Devito moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stosevski has worked his arm free - good work by Stosevski!
Stosevski can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Devito has hold of Stosevski's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stosevski tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Devito cranks the arm and Stosevski screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stosevski, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
