Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimi Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Flight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimi Hendrix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Thomas Flight! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flight feints a jab promting Hendrix to slip. Flight then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hendrix slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hendrix circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flight on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hendrix thows a left - swing and a miss! Hendrix throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Thomas Flight has been cut. Flight tries to close the distance and clinch but Hendrix swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hendrix throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Flight. Hendrix throws a hook but Flight avoids it easily. Flight pushes Hendrix up against the cage in a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A short left from Hendrix. A right handed body shot lands from Hendrix.

That's one minute gone in the round. Flight lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hendrix. Still in the clinch, Hendrix scores with a nice short uppercut. Hendrix tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hendrix takes a shot to the head. Hendrix taking a breather. Hendrix doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hendrix creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hendrix breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hendrix throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hendrix jabbing away but nothing is landing. Flight closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hendrix's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flight wants to stand but Hendrix is controlling his posture from full guard. Flight trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hendrix is working an open guard so Flight takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hendrix circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flight avoids the head kick by Hendrix.
Flight wants to clinch. Flight throws a right and a left that both miss. Flight misses with a right hand and Hendrix makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Flight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hendrix gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendrix lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Flight takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hendrix feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Flights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hendrix.
Hendrix connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Flight's hands. Hendrix fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Flight is out of range. Hendrix throws a jab but it's blocked by Flight. Jimi Hendrix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Flight looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hendrix tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Hendrix scores with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hendrix lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Donk. Hendrix catches Flight right on the button with a cross.
Flight is rocked! Flight looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hendrix lands a right hand from hell, dropping Flight. Hendrix pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimi Hendrix! Jimi Hendrix was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
