Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooper comes to the cage accompanied by s.mouse - slap my elbow. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miyamoto Musashi! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Musashi throws an overhand right that lands on Cooper's shoulder, as Cooper tries to avoid the shot. Cooper wants to clinch. Cooper wants to clinch up but Musashi keeps it at a distance. Musashi darts in and clinches Cooper up against the cage. Cooper tries a body shot but Musashi blocks it.
Musashi blocks an elbow strike. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cooper just misses with a elbow thrown towards Musashi's brow. Musashi blocks an elbow strike. Cooper throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Musashi avoids the elbow strike from Cooper, against the cage.
I was talking to Cooper's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Musashi is trying to break the clinch but Cooper has him pressed against the cage. Musashi manages to break the clinch.
Musashi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cooper was well out of range. Poor timing from Musashi. Musashi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Cooper is looking to clinch. Musashi misses with a wild combination.
Musashi throws a right and a left that both miss. Musashi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cooper gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Musashi blocking some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Musashi stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Musashi dodges an elbow strike from Cooper.
Cooper can't find room to land a body shot as Musashi controls the action.
Musashi breaks from the clinch.
Cooper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Charles Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Musashi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cooper moves away. Cooper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Musashi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cooper takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Charles Cooper has been cut. Cooper moves in looking to clinch but Musashi pushes him off. Cooper tries to clinch but Musashi is having none of it. Musashi tries a head kick but it misses.
Musashi connects with a nice looking jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jab from Musashi. Musashi swats away the attempt to clinch by Cooper. Musashi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Musashi lands a jab to the nose. Musashi swats away the attempt to clinch by Cooper. Cooper closes the distance but Musashi moves to the side and Cooper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Musashi fakes the leg kick and cracks Cooper in the body. Musashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Musashi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cooper. Musashi cracks Cooper with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cooper tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Musashi pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cooper is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
