The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beliveau.
Jeffries tries to bum rush Beliveau with a series of wild strikes but Beliveau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sloppy strikes from Jeffries. Those never looked like landing.
Jeffries throws a right and a left that Beliveau avoids nicely.
Beliveau shoots for a takedown but Jeffries saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jeffries throws a left that rocks Beliveau and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jeffries dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Beliveau regain composure!

It looks like Yan Beliveau has been cut.

Jeffries decides to stand back up. Jeffries steps back and let's Beliveau get back to his feet.
Beliveau seems to have recovered his senses.
Jeffries looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A combination from Jeffries does no damage.
Beliveau fails with the takedown.
Jeffries closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Beliveau out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
