Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Jee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pancho Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jee comes to the cage accompanied by Get The Funk Out Of My Face. Dominguez has chosen MIchael Jackson - Beat It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Karl Jee has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karl Jee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pancho Dominguez!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez shoots in but Jee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dominguez misses the shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Jee.
Dominguez dodges the punch combination from Jee.
Jee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dominguez blocks a head kick by Jee.
Jee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dominguez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Jee tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Dominguez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jee!
Jee avoids a strike by Dominguez and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Dominguez's guard! Fantastic escape!

Dominguez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jee wants to break free but Dominguez has control.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Jee throws a sloppy head kick and Dominguez moves out of range easily.

and Dominguez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jee's guard.

Jee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dominguez is proving hard to escape from.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dominguez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dominguez wants to free his trapped foot but Jee is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dominguez is breathing heavily.
Dominguez is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jee reverses the position - he's now on top in Dominguez's guard.
Dominguez looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jee puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Jee stands up from half guard.
Jee throws a head kick but Dominguez moves out of range.
Dominguez misses with a takedown attempt - Jee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Dominguez counters with an outside leg kick.
Karl Jee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jee misses with the combination.
No luck for Dominguez with that takedown attempt.
Karl Jee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pancho Dominguez.
Jee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jee attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dominguez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jee's brow.

so Dominguez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Dominguez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dominguez, into his guard.
Dominguez is looking to sweep but instead, Jee has passed into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pancho Dominguez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Dominguez shoots in for a takedown but Jee shows good takedown defense.

Jee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jee tries to get out of the position.
Jee is squirming around, avoiding Dominguez's attempts to control the action.
Jee tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pancho Dominguez has got the better of the ground game so far.
Dominguez punching from mount but Jee doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jee has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Dominguez's lack of action.
Dominguez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jee keeps working.
Jee regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dominguez.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jee holds on and takes a little breather.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jee throws a sloppy head kick and Dominguez moves out of range easily.

Pancho Dominguez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Dominguez winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
