Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Ettorei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Diaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antonio Ettorei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Diaz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into Ettorei's guard. Diaz is pushing down on Ettorei's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ettorei is fighting to maintain full guard but Diaz has managed to sneak the leg through. Ettorei is trying to stand up here but Diaz is controlling him well. Diaz sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ettorei looks like he's trying to stand up.
Diaz is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ettorei! Ettorei wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Diaz fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
BOOM! Diaz connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ettorei is in a horrible position here. Diaz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Diaz tries to control but Ettorei wriggling away. Diaz controlling the position easily from mount. Diaz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz landing punches. Diaz content just to control the position here. Diaz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ettorei looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz punishing his opponent with strikes. Diaz looking to control but Ettorei is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz punishing his opponent with strikes. Diaz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ettorei is forced to tap! Great finish!
