Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cristian Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Banner's choice of entrance music: Pump Up The Jam. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Banner takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Carver misses with a hook
and Banner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Banner.
Carver had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Banner defends it easily.

Carver avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Banner.
Banner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carver keeps working.
Carver moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Banner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Carver has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Banner should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Carver has tightened it up now! Banner should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
