Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Dragon! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore ducks right into an uppercut from Dragon. Moore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dragon takes the fight into the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Moore obliges. Moore lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dragon backwards. Moore lands a nice knee to the body. Moore lands a knee to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moore blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dragon swings wildly with an uppercut but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it. Dragon pulls guard successfully.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Moore looking to pass the guard. Moore is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dragon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moore controls from within his opponent's guard. Dragon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Moore stacks Dragon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moore! Dragon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Moore asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragon tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Dragon has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Dragon is trying to stand up. Dragon tries to reverse the position but Moore maintains control. Moore controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragon is desperately trying to improve his position but Moore has a good base and remains in mount. Moore looking to control and managing it successfully. Dragon is trying to stand up. Moore looking to control but Dragon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Moore controlling the pace for now. Dragon tries to reverse the position but Moore maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dragon is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Dragon can't escape the position.
Moore content just to control the position here. Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dragon on the ground. Dragon tries to reverse the position but Moore maintains control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Dragon will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

He has Dragon in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dragon is trying to drag Moore to the mat but Moore just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dragon misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dragon is looking for a takedown. Moore working some nice short punches in the clinch. Moore blocking some punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragon tries to throw a body punch but Moore avoids it by throwing Dragon back against the cage. Moore landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Moore is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dragon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dragon tries to pull guard but Moore holds him up against the cage and eventually Dragon drops back down to his feet.
Moore is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Dragon takes a knee right on the jaw!

Dragon is rocked! Moore leaning against his opponent.
Dragon is still on wobbly legs! Can Moore finish him? Moore has Dragon pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Dragon is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Moore - that's hurt Dragon badly! Oh, another knee lands and Dragon is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Dragon doesn't seem to be complaining.
