Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noah Oppe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trevor Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oppe tries a head kick but it misses.
Kennedy tries to bum rush Oppe with a series of wild strikes but Oppe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Oppe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kennedy throws a head kick that misses. Oppe moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Oppe tries to clinch up but Kennedy circles away and keeps his distance. Oppe doesn't manage to clinch there - Kennedy circles away.
Kennedy takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Oppe tries to clinch and Kennedy counters by clinching up. Oppe stalling.
Oppe seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Oppe prevents the takedown attempt.
Kennedy misses with a hook from the clinch. Oppe unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kennedy lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knees in the clinch landing for Oppe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oppe scores a nice knee to the body.
Kennedy wants to get back to striking at distance but Oppe won't allow it.
Oppe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kennedy.
Kennedy takes a knee to the side of the body. Kennedy looks winded! A shot in the inside from Oppe. Oppe leaning his opponent against the cage. Oppe makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Oppe effectively controlling the action here. Oppe utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oppe lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kennedy or not. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oppe lands a right hand. Kennedy takes an elbow to the forehead. Oppe is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Oppe just leaning against Kennedy, taking a breather. Kennedy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Noah Oppe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Kennedy. A hook to the body from Oppe.
Kennedy has Oppe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Oppe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Oppe with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Oppe lands an elbow inside that Kennedy shrugs off. Oppe lands a nice knee to the body. Oppe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oppe is defending well against a takedown attempt. Oppe scores with a shoulder strike. Oppe works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Kennedy tries to pull guard but Oppe forces him back to his feet, against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Oppe putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kennedy in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Kennedy fails to pull guard.
Oppe pushes Kennedy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Oppe - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Oppe blocks an uppercut.
Oppe presses Kennedy against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Oppe lands with a light punch inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oppe dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Oppe lands a shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oppe landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

It looks like Trevor Kennedy has been cut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Oppe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kennedy backwards. Oppe scores with a nice hook to the head. A short body shot lands from Oppe as the two fighters clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noah Oppe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Trevor Kennedy's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kennedy is still on wobbly legs! Can Oppe finish him? Oppe lands a nice knee to the body. Oppe lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Oppe's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Oppe creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kennedy with a big uppercut! Kennedy tries to clinch up but Oppe pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Kennedy to the mat! Kennedy covers up and Oppe unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Noah Oppe!
