Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Asa Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banner lunges at Cherry with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cherry's hand.
Jack Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cherry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Banner avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Asa Cherry will probably get the nod.

Cherry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Banner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Banner has escaped and now he's on top!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

A looping hook to the body misses from Banner. Cherry does a little dance to reset his feet.

Cherry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Banner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cherry.

Cherry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Banner defends it well.
Cherry has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Banner defend it? Cherry steps over the head and cranks it - Banner is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cherry!
