Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Otis Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Otis Gein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins lands a slapping body shot.
Wilkins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gein wants to clinch.

Gein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wilkins circles away.

Wilkins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gein goes for a double leg but Wilkins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wilkins continues to drive forward.

Can Gein hold on?! Wilkins is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Wilkins is trying to stick to Gein's back but Gein is turning into Wilkins. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wilkins's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gein.

Wilkins gets tackled into the cage by Gein. Gein maintains the clinch.
Gein is looking to break free of the clinch but Wilkins has double underhooks.
Wilkins is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Wilkins wants a takedown but no success here.

Gein escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gein looks to clinch
and Wilkins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gein tries to clinch there but Wilkins circles away.
Gein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilkins tries to avoid it but Gein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilkins to the ground. Wilkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Otis Gein is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Wilkins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gein did well to prevent Wilkins getting side control.
Gein is staying active underneath Wilkins, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Wilkins has hold of Gein's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gein manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
