Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stromile Farseer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hjalmar Klason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klason is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by (Hed) Pe - Raise Hell. Hjalmar Klason has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Stromile Farseer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stromile Farseer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
37 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hjalmar Klason!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Farseer misses its intended target.
Farseer avoids the head kick by Klason.
Klason uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Farseer.
Farseer looks to throw the jab but Klason is out of range.

A jab from Farseer does it's job there.
It looks like Hjalmar Klason has been cut.
Klason tries to move into range but Farseer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Farseer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Klason has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Klason tries to work over Farseer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Farseer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Klason lands a leg kick that knocks Farseer off balance momentarily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Farseer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Klason's guard.
Klason has control of Farseer's left arm, preventing Farseer from doing any damage.
Farseer throws an elbow that misses. Klason uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Farseer's guard. Nice move by Klason!

Klason working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klason accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Farseer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Klason has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stromile Farseer.
Farseer throws a right and a left that Klason avoids nicely.

Klason throws a leg kick but Farseer sees it coming and checks it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stromile Farseer will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Klason lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Farseer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klason circles away.
Hjalmar Klason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klason clobbers Farseer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Klason wants to clinch.

Oh Farseer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stromile Farseer's cut is getting worse.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Klason moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Farseer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Farseer throws a solid leg kick but Klason takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Farseer.
Farseer seems to have got his legs back now.

and Klason counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Klason lands a nice leg kick that just misses Farseer's sensitive parts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stromile Farseer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Farseer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Klason as he avoids it easily.

Farseer darts in looking for a takedown but Klason gets double underhooks and turns Farseer into the cage.

After winning the bout, Stromile Farseer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
