Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Goforth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micha Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf has chosen say as his entrance music. Justin Goforth has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Justin Goforth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Micha Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goforth tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wolf manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wolf displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Goforth.

Wolf shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Goforth napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
It looks like Wolf might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Goforth gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Wolf takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Micha Wolf has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Goforth or perhaps it was just good defense by Wolf which made him look bad.
Goforth fails with an attempt to clinch.

enabling Goforth to counter with a crisp jab.
Goforth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Goforth shoots in for a takedown but Wolf shows good takedown defense.

Wolf gets control of Goforth's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wolf will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Wolf had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Goforth defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Goforth trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wolf looking to hit a scissor sweep but Goforth is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Wolf counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wolf.
Wolf tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wolf holds on and takes a little breather.
Wolf preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wolf is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Goforth postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Goforth throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Goforth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wolf tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wolf has Goforth pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Goforth throwing strikes but missing.
Goforth trying to control the position from guard on top but Wolf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wolf is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Micha Wolf has got the better of the ground game so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goforth tries to roll over but Wolf keeps him under control.

Wolf is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Goforth defends it well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wolf in particular looking to stall.
Goforth is looking to improve his position.
Wolf content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Wolf's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Micha Wolf was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Wolf drives through with a takedown into Goforth's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Micha Wolf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wolf gets control of Goforth's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wolf will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wolf is pulling down on Goforth's head to control his posture.
Let's hope that Wolf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Wolf has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Goforth postures up and lands a big shot to Wolf's brow.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Micha Wolf hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Goforth goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Goforth fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wolf stuffs the takedown attempt from Goforth. Goforth gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Wolf tries a knee to the head but Goforth blocks it.
Wolf tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Goforth smiles and moves away.
Goforth shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wolf pinned against the cage. Wolf gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Goforth. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wolf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goforth sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wolf somewhat.
Wolf takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Goforth slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Goforth looking for a sweep. Not yet Goforth, not yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Micha Wolf.
Goforth tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wolf defends well and Goforth ends up having to push Wolf into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Wolf's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Goforth tries to pull guard but Wolf holds him up against the cage and eventually Goforth drops back down to his feet.
Goforth wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Wolf gets control of Goforth's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wolf will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wolf has control of Goforth's left arm, preventing Goforth from doing any damage.
Justin Goforth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Micha Wolf is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Micha Wolf comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Wolf winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
