The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Maokhamphiou coming out on top.
It looks like Phillip Finnegan has been cut.
Finnegan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Maokhamphiou misses with a head kick.
Maokhamphiou waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Finnegan. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Finnegan to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Finnegan is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Maokhamphiou stands up from Finnegan's guard - Maokhamphiou perhaps looking for a knockout.
Finnegan throws a head kick that misses
and Maokhamphiou counters with a beautiful punch that sends Finnegan to the canvas!
Oh Finnegan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maokhamphiou stands and steps away. Finnegan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Finnegan seems to have got his legs back now.
Maokhamphiou throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Finnegan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Khru Maokhamphiou has been cut.
Finnegan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Maokhamphiou lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Finnegan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Finnegan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
