Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrion Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lannister comes to the cage accompanied by the whores of westeros. Lopez has chosen Apeman as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister misses with a takedown attempt - Lopez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lannister fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lopez scores with a head kick. Lannister tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Lopez needs to keep his hands up - Lannister had a free shot at his head there.

Lannister cracks Lopez with a good jab.

Lopez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lannister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lopez.
Lannister takes a swing at Lopez's ribcage but misses.
Lannister tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lopez defends well and Lannister ends up having to push Lopez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyrion Lannister. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lopez lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Lannister drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lopez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lopez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lannister thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lopez's head.
Lannister prevents Lopez from improving his position.
Lopez felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

No joy there for Lannister, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lannister shoots in for a takedown but Lopez shows good takedown defense.
Lopez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lannister eats them both and turns towards Lopez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lannister takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lannister throws a right and a left that Lopez avoids nicely.
Lannister scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lopez doesn't seem bothered though.
Lopez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lannister in his tracks.
Lopez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Lopez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lannister shoots in and gets a takedown into Lopez's guard.

Lopez wants to get back to his feet but Lannister is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lopez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Lopez wants to control the pace but Lannister is squirming around nicely.

Lannister is rocked!
Lopez is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lannister can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Lannister is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lannister is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lopez prevents Lannister from getting the reversal.
Lannister is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Ancient Alien Assassin Academy, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Lopez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lopez postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lannister in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lannister to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
